Our experienced auto glass technicians use high‑quality resin and industry‑leading repair methods to deliver durable, long‑lasting results. With more than 25 years serving Prince George and Northern BC, we understand how local driving and weather conditions affect your glass.
Our Rock Chip Repair Process
1. Inspection & assessment. We carefully inspect the chip to determine if a repair is safe and effective. Many small chips and some short cracks can be repaired; if not, we’ll explain your windshield replacement options.
2. Cleaning the damaged area. We remove dirt, moisture, and debris from the chip to ensure the resin bonds properly and restores strength.
3. Resin injection. A specialized clear resin is injected into the chip under controlled pressure, filling the damaged area and stabilizing the glass.
4. Curing & hardening. The resin is cured (hardened), typically using UV light, to create a strong bond within the glass.
5. Polishing & finishing. The repaired area is smoothed and polished for improved clarity and a clean, finished look.
In many cases, a rock chip repair can be completed in 30–45 minutes, getting you safely back on the road with minimal downtime.
